Kansas City Comets beat Chicago Mustangs 6-0

The Kansas City Comets became the first Major Arena Soccer League team to beat the Chicago Mustangs this season with a 6-0 rout in front of 4,007 fans at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena.

The Comets also earned their first shutout since the team return in 2010 behind the play of goalkeeper Stephen Paterson.

Lucas Rodriguez scored two goals to lead KC, 3-2.
