Looking for a place to capture some images of the wild world?

Head to Yellowstone National Park, the massive park located in parts of Wyoming, Montana and Idaho.

The nation’s first designated national park, it was born in 1872. Ever since, it has thrilled tourists, fishermen, hikers, campers, wildlife watchers and backpackers. And especially, photographers.

The scenery leading to the park isn’t too bad, either. The Beartooth Highway features views of snow-capped mountains, wildlife, waterfalls, glistening lakes and streams.

What a place.

This is America the Beautiful, with Yellowstone National Park covering more than 2 million acres. That’s larger than Rhode Island and Delaware combined.

But enough words. These photos give a better picture of what this region is all about.
