Brent Frazee’s best bet

This is the time of the year to chase smallmouth bass at Coffey County Lake in Kansas. The fishing has been red-hot the past three weeks, with huge numbers of fish caught and some big ones, too. Use plastic finesse baits and key on the riprap or rocky banks.
