Missouri• TRUMAN: Outlook:

Bucksaw Marina reports: crappies fair to good on jigs, minnows along spawning banks; bass poor to fair flipping jigs, plastics in back of creeks; catfish poor. Below the dam: Cody’s Bait and Tackle reports: crappies good at night on jigs, minnows in the cutoff channel and main channel; white bass, hybrids good early and late on jigs, Zara Spooks, Hawgsticks; catfish fair at night on cut shad.

• BULL SHOALS: Outlook:

125 Marina reports: largemouth, Kentucky, smallmouth bass good on Gitzits along banks; crappies fair on jigs along banks.

• JACOMO:Outlook:

Forty Woods Bait and Tackle reports: crappies good on minnows, jigs in the shallows; channel catfish good at night on chicken liver in the coves.

• BLUE SPRINGS: Outlook:

Blue Springs Lake Marina reports: crappies very good on jigs, minnows off the marina docks and in the shallows on the lake; black bass good on soft-plastic baits, jigs, spinnerbaits in the shallows.

• STOCKTON:Outlook:

Stockton Lake Guide Service reports: crappies fair to good on jigs, minnows in 2 to 6 feet of water along spawning banks; walleyes very good on jigs with night crawlers in 6 to 12 feet of water off points; bass fair on jigs, plastic worms along spawning banks.

Department of Conservation reports: crappies fair on tube jigs under bobbers over the shallow brush; bass good on plastic baits in the brush and weed beds; channel catfish good on a variety of baits; bluegills good on worms under bobbers.

Lilleys’ Landing reports: Trophy Area: trout very good on 1/100-th ounce jigs 4 to 6 feet down under strike indicators; also size 14 zebra midges (best colors are red, black or rusty) 3 to 4 feet down under strike indicators. When there is current, white 1/8-th ounce jigs cast along banks are working. Below Fall Creek: trout fair on night crawlers.

Gier’s Bass Pro reports: crappies good (but scattered) on minnows, jigs in 8 to 10 feet of water in Bagnell Dam area; bass fair on shaky-head rigs, plastic lizards in 8 to 10 feet of water.

Muskie Guide Service reports: crappies fair to good on jigs, minnows in 15 to 20 feet of water in the brush; bass fair on plastic baits out from spawning banks.

Kansas• WILSON:Outlook:

Knothead’s reports: walleyes good on jigs with night crawlers or leeches on the flats; bass good on crankbaits in shallow, rocky areas; white bass good on night crawlers in the coves; catfish good on minnows, worms, shrimp.

• GLEN ELDER: Outlook:

Wayne’s Sporting Goods reports: crappies fair on jigs, minnows out from spawning banks; white bass fair on jigging spoons, grubs on the north end of the causeway and in the river channels; walleyes good on night crawlers, minnows on the south side; catfish good on panfish in the river.

Coffey County reports: smallmouth bass good on plastic baits on the riprap; white bass good on crankbaits, plastic baits in the shallows; crappies, wipers fair.

Johnson County Park and Rec reports: catfish good on liver, worms in the morning; crappies good on minnows, worms along the banks; bass fair on spinnerbaits, plastic worms, plastic lizards in the morning.

Bailey’s Guide Service reports: stripers good trolling live shad or umbrella rigs with white grubs in 25 feet of water. Stripers also are being caught trolling Rapalas, Bombers on flat lines with planer boards.
