Three attempts and a week of hunting paid off for two Missouri men.

Holt Horrell, of Cape Girardeau, and his boss Jordan Porter, reeled in a 40-pound albino big head carp while bowfishing on the St. Francis River, according to KFVS.

Porter was the one who actually caught the fish — which he saw a week before he finally was able to catch it — but he wasn’t interested in keeping it. So Horrell took it off his hands, KFVS reported.

The fish is a rare catch, and Horrell is considering it a trophy. He’s planning on mounting it in his home.
