The Missouri Mavericks and Wichita Thunder will square off in a preseason exhibition game on Oct. 8 in Wichita, the Mavericks announced on Monday.

The exhibition game will begin at 7:05 p.m. and will be played at the Wichita Ice Center. Tickets are $10 and go on sale at a later date and can only be purchased through the Wichita Thunder ticket office.

“It’s great to get an exhibition game on our schedule. It will be an opportunity to see where our team is at one week before the regular season starts, and it will help John-Scott Dickson and the coaching staff evaluate some of the new faces on the team,” Mavericks general manager Brent Thiessen said in a press release.
