Missouri Mavericks hit road in search of series sweep in ECHL Kelly Cup playoff
The Missouri Mavericks won the first two games of their ECHL Kelly Cup playoff series against Quad City at home, and they will try and wrap up the best-of-seven Western Conference quarterfinal series with two road wins.
The teams play at 6:35 tonight and 7:05 p.m. Friday in Moline, Ill. If necessary, game five would be at 7:05 p.m. Saturday in Moline.
The Mavericks have been paced on offense by Andrew Courtney and Josh Holmstrom, who have two goals apiece.
John Robinson, the ECHL goaltender of the year, allowed three goals in the series opener and Parker Milner gave up just one goal in game two.
