Missouri Mavericks update (March 4)
MISSOURI MAVERICKS CONTINUE LIVE TELEVISED “FRIDAY NIGHT ICE” SERIES THIS WEEKEND
The Missouri Mavericks have teamed up with KSMO-TV (affiliate station of KCTV5) to broadcast select home games over the course of the rest of the regular season, with option to extend production into the post-season.
The next broadcast is set for Friday on KSMO-TV, when the Mavericks host their longtime rival Wichita Thunder, at 7:05p.m. at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena. Two additional live game broadcasts are scheduled for March 11 at 7:05p.m. and April 1 at 7:05p.m.
“Friday Night Ice” is presented by Tickets for Less— the Missouri Mavericks official secondary ticket provided.

PLAYER MOVEMENT
The Mavericks roster saw its fair share of movement this week, with the return of defenseman C.J. Ludwig (son of NHL Stanley Cup Champion, Craig Ludwig, and brother to Mavericks Team Captain, Trevor Ludwig), from call-up to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers — the Mavs American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the signing of forward Kellen Jones to a professional tryout (PTO) contract with the Utica Comets (AHL), and the acquisition of forward Darian Dziurzynski from the Greenville Swamp Rabbits (ECHL).
Missouri enters this weekend with 19 active players on their roster. Ten skaters and two goaltenders who have spent time with the Mavs this season are currently playing in the American Hockey League (AHL).
