Preseason NHL game coming to Sprint Center in September

The National Hockey League is coming back to the Sprint Center in downtown Kansas City.

For one night, at least.

The St. Louis Blues and Minnesota Wild will match up in a preseason game at the Sprint Center on Sept. 28, the venue announced. The opening faceoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Tickets for the game will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. They start at $15.

The Washington Capitals defeated the Blues 4-2 in an preseason game at the Sprint Center last October. The game, dubbed, “Kansas City Blues Night,” drew 11,781 fans.
