Chiefs field a more complete team at practice
The Chiefs were a more complete team at Tuesday’s practice.
Quarterback Tyler Bray returned to the field for the first time since suffering a neck injury in the preseason opener on Aug. 13. He ran with the third team ahead of Aaron Murray.
Cornerback Phillip Gaines, working his way back from season-ending knee surgery last year has been limited in practice but hasn’t played in either preseason game. He worked out with the defensive starters on Tuesday.
Running back Charcandrick West also turned to the field. He suffered an elbow strain in the opener.
Jamaal Charles, working his way back slowly, participated in full team drills for the first time, and linebacker Tamba Hali also was back for the first time and took reps in full team drills.
