Chiefs special teams coordinator Dave Toub said he has no reservations about going into the regular season with a rookie kicker if Cairo Santos were to outshine Ryan Succop during training camp and preseason.

“If he wins the job, we feel good,” Toub said. “That’s what this is all about. That’s what training camp is about … in the preseason games we’re going to find out who the best guy is and go with it.”

“It’s a real battle. Preseason games are going to tell us a lot.”
