The Chiefs’ inactive list for Saturday’s AFC Wild Card playoff game against the Texans included no surprises.

The Texans’ list did.

For the Chiefs, center Mitch Morse, quarterback Aaron Murray, linebacker Dezman Moses, offensive lineman Jarrod Pughsley and defensive linemen David King and Rakeem Nunez-Roches are inactive.

Texans outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney isn’t playing either. He had been listed as questionable while recovering from a foot injury suffered two weeks ago against the Titans. There had been some optimism that Clowney would heal in time for the game.

According to reports, Clowney stormed out of the locker room when he heard had been ruled out. Apparently, Clowney was stunned by the news. He thought he was healthy to play. He left the stadium but was expected back before kickoff.

Clowney didn’t play last week. He was limited in practice on Thursday and didn’t practice on Friday.

Other Texans inactives: quarterback B.J. Daniels, safety Rahim Moore, linebacker Justin Tuggle, tackle Andrew McDonald, tight end Garrett Graham and defensive end Jeoffrey Pagan.
