The Chiefs announced a pair of roster moves Tuesday.

The most notable is the addition of defensive lineman Nick Williams to the 53-man roster. He was signed off the Pittsburgh Steelers’ practice squad, and he takes safety Eric Berry’s spot on the roster. Berry was placed on the reserve/non-football injury list Monday after the team discovered a mass in his chest.

The Chiefs also signed linebacker Ja’Gared Davis to the practice squad. He will replace linebacker Darin Drakeford, who was placed on the practice squad/injured list.

Williams, who is listed at 6 feet 4 and 309 pounds, was selected by the Steelers in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He spent last season on injured reserve and has been on the practice squad this season. He recorded 66 tackles, 13 tackles for loss and eight sacks during his 40-game career at Samford.
