It appears Frankie Hammond will receive his first extended action since the season opener on Sunday.

The Chiefs announced Friday that receivers A.J. Jenkins (shoulder) and Donnie Avery (groin) will not be available for their game against the Seahawks.

That leaves Hammond and Junior Hemingway as the likely options to play opposite No. 1 receiver Dwayne Bowe, though Chiefs coach Andy Reid said rookie Albert Wilson could play a good deal, too.

Hemingway, who has been targeted 19 times and has 11 catches for 104 yards, and Wilson, who has been targeted twice and caught two passes for 24 yards, will face an interesting test in the Seahawks, who boast a vaunted secondary led by Pro Bowlers Richard Sherman and Earl Thomas.

Before he got hurt in week four against New England, Avery was targeted 23 times and caught 14 passes for 156 yards and zero touchdowns. Jenkins had been targeted 15 times and caught five passes for 77 yards and zero touchdowns in five starts since Avery’s injury.

In addition to cornerback Jamell Fleming, who has a hamstring injury and will also sit out Sunday’s game, the Chiefs also have three players whose status is questionable: tight end Anthony Fasano (knee) and cornerbacks Chris Owens (knee) and Phillip Gaines (ankle/quad).

Gaines was a limited participant in practice on Thursday and Friday, while Owens, who played against the Bills on Sunday after a three-week absence, missed practice Thursday and Friday. Fasano, meanwhile, has not practiced all week.

Reid said that if Fasano cannot play, the team is comfortable turning to tight end Phillip Supernaw, who was signed off the Baltimore Ravens’ practice squad earlier this week, as a backup to No. 2 tight end Travis Kelce.

“Yeah, he looked like he picked things up pretty well,” Reid said. “I told you he had a bit of a foundation with the terminology, I don’t think it was as tough as if he had to learn everything from scratch. But he’s done a nice job, he’s spent a lot of hours here getting everything down.”

Supernaw caught one pass for a loss of 2 yards in three games for the Ravens this season.

Running back Jamaal Charles (shoulder/elbow), tight end Travis Kelce (ribs), linebacker Josh Martin (hamstring/knee), linebacker Josh Mauga (groin), cornerback Sean Smith (groin) and guard Mike McGlynn (knee) were all full participants Friday and are probable, which means it is a virtual certainty they will play in Sunday’s game.

Linebacker Tamba Hali (knee) was limited in practice all week but is also probable.

Seattle injury report

The Seahawks will be without star linebacker Bobby Wagner, who is listed as out for Sunday’s game because of a toe injury.

Star running back Marshawn Lynch (calf/rib) and tight end Luke Willson (ankle) were full participants in practice Friday but are questionable.

Starting guard James Carpenter (ankle) did not practice all week and is doubtful.

Backup cornerback Jeremy Lane (groin) was limited Friday and is questionable.

Two starters, linebacker Malcolm Smith (groin) and safety Kam Chancellor (groin), were full participants Friday and are probable.
