Chiefs

Chiefs’ opening game opponent and kickoff time are known. But where is the game?

The Chiefs’ opening game opponent and date are known. All that’s left to be determined is the site.

The Chiefs will meet the Denver Broncos on Sept. 14, a “Monday Night Football” encounter. The game will kick off at 7:15 p.m. CT and air on ABC/ESPN.

But the NFL did not release the site of the game. The entire NFL schedule will be announced Thursday evening. Some primetime games will be revealed Tuesday, and international games will be announced Wednesday.

Denver ended the Chiefs’ run of nine consecutive AFC West titles last season, and the Broncos reached the AFC Championship Game before falling to the New England Patriots.

The Chiefs had won 16 straight in the series until 2024, and the Broncos swept Kansas City last season for the first time since 2014.

Kansas City and Denver have won the last 16 AFC West titles.

The Chiefs will play AFC West opponents home and away.

Their other home opponents: Arizona Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots, New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers.

The other away opponents: Atlanta Falcons, Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals, Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks.
