Benson, 23, is a 6-foot-6, 319-pound offensive lineman. He spent three of his four college seasons with Indiana, including his redshirt-senior season on last year’s national championship team. Benson made 12 starts at right tackle in 2025. During his 2024 season at Colorado, he made four starts at right guard.

WR Xavier Loyd

Loyd, 23, is a 6-foot-2, 196-pound wide receiver. Loyd began his college career at Kansas State before transferring to Illinois State for the 2024 season. At Illinois State, Loyd caught 66 passes for 912 yards and six touchdowns. He spent his final college season in 2025 at Missouri, where he had two catches for 21 yards. Loyd is from Blue Springs, Missouri.

DB Marlen Sewell

Sewell is a 6-foot-1, 205-pound safety. In 28 appearances over his final three seasons at Vanderbilt (2023-25), Sewell compiled 97 tackles, two tackles for loss and three passes defensed. Vanderbilt named Sewell a team captain in 2024.

To make room for the trio, the Chiefs waived quarterback Jake Haener, defensive end Ethan Hurkett and defensive tackle Zacch Pickens.
