The Kansas City Chiefs’ makeover for 2026 extends to the wide receiver room.

Wide receiver Hollywood Brown has signed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz. Brown spent the last two seasons in Kansas City.

Brown, 28, was taken by the Baltimore Ravens with the 25th overall pick out of Oklahoma in the 2019 NFL Draft. The 5-foot-9, 180-pound receiver spent three seasons in Baltimore, logging the lone 1,000-yard season of his career during his final year with the club in 2021.

On Day 1 of the 2022 NFL Draft, the Ravens traded Brown to the Arizona Cardinals, who picked up his fifth-year option. Following the 2023 season, he became an unrestricted free agent, which opened the door for him to sign with the Chiefs.

When he signed with Kansas City in 2024, Brown was viewed as an answer for the Chiefs in stretching the field. But his first year in KC was quickly derailed when he suffered a sternoclavicular joint injury on the first play of the preseason.

Brown appeared in just five games (including the playoffs) in 2024, finishing with 14 catches for 141 yards. Brown returned to the Chiefs on a one-year deal for 2025, and he was a critical piece during the first half of the season with Xavier Worthy injured and Rashee Rice serving a six-game suspension.

On the season, Brown logged 49 catches for 587 yards and five touchdowns. He now joins the Eagles still looking to return to that 2021 level of production.
