Former Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy is making the rounds.

Multiple reports say the 47-year-old recently interviewed with the Philadelphia Eagles for their offensive coordinator opening. The Eagles moved on from offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo after a Wild Card loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Nagy had been considered a favorite for the Tennessee Titans job, but the Titans ultimately hired former 49ers defensive coordinator, Robert Saleh. Nagy also interviewed for head coaching openings with the Las Vegas Raiders, Arizona Cardinals and Baltimore Ravens.

With Nagy’s Chiefs contract expiring at the end of 2025, Kansas City plans to bring back Eric Bieniemy as its next offensive coordinator. If Nagy doesn’t land a head coaching job, he appears to be seeking a role where he can call plays and put a bigger stamp on an offense.

That could be where Philadelphia comes in.

Like John Harbaugh and Mike Tomlin, Eagles coach Nick Sirianni takes a CEO-style approach, meaning his coordinators run their respective units.

For the vacant OC job, Philadelphia had also been tied to Brian Daboll (Giants), Mike Kafka (Giants) and Mike McDaniel (Dolphins), among others, though McDaniel appears headed to Jim Harbaugh’s staff with the Los Angeles Chargers.

Nagy began his NFL coaching career with the Eagles under Andy Reid as a coaching intern in 2008, growing into the role of quality control coach by 2012, his final year in Philadelphia. Nagy joined Reid in his move to Kansas City in 2013 as his quarterbacks coach, eventually rising to the position of offensive coordinator in 2016.
