The Kansas City Chiefs have one game remaining in their 2025 season: a Week 18 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.

On Wednesday, head coach Andy Reid said starting right guard Trey Smith (ankle) and receiver Xavier Worthy (illness) would not practice to begin the week. At this stage, Smith isn’t expected to suit up, while Worthy is still expected to play.

Starting linebacker Leo Chenal (shoulder), quarterback Patrick Mahomes (ACL), cornerbacks Trent McDuffie (knee) and Jaylen Watson (groin), defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott (ACL), wide receiver Rashee Rice and offensive tackles Josh Simmons (wrist) and Jawaan Taylor (elbow) are already on injured reserve.

While Smith is unlikely to play, Kansas City could see the returns of offensive tackle Jaylon Moore and defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi (illness), both of whom have missed the past two games.

“I’ll tell you (about Moore’s status) as we go through the week,” head coach Andy Reid said. “He’s going to be out there (Wednesday) and doing his thing.”

If Moore is cleared, he would likely slide in at right tackle, with the rest of the line expected to feature Esa Pole at left tackle, Kingsley Suamataia at left guard, Creed Humphrey at center — and Mike Caliendo or Hunter Nourzad at right guard.

With Mahomes out, Chris Oladokun is set to make the second start of his career, this time with a full week of preparation.

“You definitely get on more of the same page with the receivers,” Oladokun said. “Really just dialing into the playbook. When you have that short week, you’re just cramming everything into 24 hours to get down. Having the full week is going to be great. We have a good plan moving forward, so I’m excited about a full week.”
