The Kansas City Chiefs should have some reinforcements coming for this Sunday’s home game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Wide receiver Xavier Worthy is be back in the mix after a two-week absence.

“You’ve got to be healthy enough to go play,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Friday during his final news conference of the week. “We’re not going to put him out there if he’s not healthy enough to go play where he feels comfortable.”

On the third play of the season, against the Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil, Worthy collided with tight end and teammate Travis Kelce on a crossing route and injured his shoulder.

At that moment, it looked like he might miss significant time.

Yet, just six days later, Worthy returned to practice in a limited capacity. He remained limited in the three days of preparation for the New York Giants game and was held out.

This week, the Chiefs listed him as a full participant all three days.

“He feels good,” Reid said. “And the (Ravens), they’re going to play hard no matter what, whether you have a shoulder (injury) or not. They’re going to try to knock you around a little bit.

“That’s why you want to make sure you’re in the right frame of mind to go do it — and physically OK.”

Like Worthy, both defensive end Mike Danna (hip) and cornerback Kristian Fulton (ankle) missed the Sunday night game against the Giants. Fulton logged limited practices all week, while Danna was downgraded from a full participant on Thursday to limited on Friday.

Fulton and defensive end Ashton Gillotte, who did not attend Friday’s session due to illness, are questionable to play. Danna is doubtful.

Rookie receiver Jalen Royals dressed last week, but coming off of knee tendinitis, Reid held him back from taking the field. Now, he’s expected to see the first snaps of his NFL career.
