Latest Kansas City Chiefs acquisition looks to provide depth on defensive line
The Kansas City Chiefs’ latest addition spent the previous two seasons with a rival.
Defensive end Janarius Robinson, who has spent his two NFL seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders, has agreed to a deal with the Chiefs, according to agency SportsTrust Advisors.
Robinson played in 16 games over two seasons for the Raiders, starting two in 2023 and one last season. Over the two years, he recorded 1 1/2 sacks.
He missed the final three games of 2024 after being suspended for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.
Robinson, 25, was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the fourth round in 2021 and also spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles.
In Robinson, the Chiefs have a depth piece on the defensive line and figure to add to that position group in the NFL Draft later this month.
