How to watch Kansas City Chiefs-Buffalo Bills in AFC Championship Game: Time, TV, odds

When the New England Patriots played in their eighth straight AFC Championship Game, it seemed like a streak of playoff success that would endure for ages. And it might.

But that day the Patriots defeated the Chiefs, and Kansas City hasn’t missed an AFC title game since. Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills will be their seventh straight appearance.

It’s almost an annual thing, Chiefs vs. Bills in the playoffs. This will mark the fourth postseason meeting between the teams since the 2020 season.

The Chiefs have won the three previous meetings, including the AFC Championship Game for 2020.

The other two games came in the Divisional Round with the Chiefs prevailing in overtime in 2021 and winning in Buffalo last season.

But the Bills know how to win at Arrowhead. They’ve won on their past three regular-season visits to Kansas City, from 2021-2023. Also, the Bills handed the Chiefs their first loss this season, 30-21 in Orchard Park, New York, in Week 11.

Including the playoffs, Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen have faced off eight times, and the series is tied 4-4.

The Bills outlasted the Baltimore Ravens 27-25, and the Chiefs beat the Houston Texans 23-14 in Divisional Round games this year.
