Where can you get Chiefs’ Super Bowl 2024 merch if they win? These stores will be open

Just like last year, sporting goods stores around the Kansas City area are preparing to open immediately Sunday if the Chiefs win Super Bowl LVIII.

Rally House, DICK’s Sportings Goods and Academy Sports + Outdoors locations around Kansas City have the team’s title merchandise — including shirts and hats — in boxes, ready to open if the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers.

The Chiefs play the 49ers at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The game will be broadcast on CBS, Paramount+, NFL+ and Nickelodeon. There will be plenty of watch parties around Kansas City, including at the KC Live! Block in the Power & Light District.

If the Chiefs win, you can also expect a championship victory parade to take place. Past parades happened on the Wednesday following the game, which shares a date with Valentine’s Day and Ash Wednesday this year.

What happens to the Chiefs’ merch if they lose?

Rally House partners with Fanatics, the merchandise distributor of the NFL, who work with Good360, a global nonprofit that helps distribute items to people in need.

Romaine Seguin, the chief executive officer of Good360, said they repurpose the losing team’s gear and work with the NFL on donating it to countries outside of North America, like Ukraine, Mongolia, Georgia, Estonia and Latvia.

Once the game is over, Seguin and her team immediately start their work with the NFL to figure out where they want to distribute their clothing.

“Whatever team doesn’t make it, the merchandise is going to go into great hands of need,” Seguin said.
