It’s hard to believe that the spotlight on the Kansas City Chiefs could get any brighter but that’s just what happened Monday night in Las Vegas.

Members of the Chiefs walked into Allegiant Stadium after being introduced in Vegas prize fight style to field questions by some of the nearly 6,000 journalists credentialed for Super Bowl LVIII during the Opening Night media availability.

Throngs of reporters and photographers crowded around Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce peppering him with questions about Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers and about his relationship with pop star Taylor Swift.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes also drew a big crowd of journalists. The one that may have given him the toughest question was 11 year old sports reporter savant Jeremiah Fennell who was doing interviews for the NFL Network. Fennell asked Mahomes to name his all time NFL fantasy team without using current Chiefs players.
