Celebrate the Kansas City Chiefs’ NFL playoff run with memorabilia from KC Star

The Kansas City Star has opened a popup storefront offering commemorative memorabilia from the defending Super Bowl-champion Chiefs’ 2023-24 run through the NFL playoffs.
The first items available for fans to purchase include special reproductions of The Star’s Morning Sports Edition cover from the Chiefs’ 26-7 Wild Card victory over the Miami Dolphins, featuring an incredible picture snapped by staff photographer Emily Curiel.
The photo captures the moment that Patrick Mahomes collided with a Dolphins defender on a run in the frigid night air at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Mahomes’ helmet shattered on impact, as shown in Curiel’s timely photo. The headline on the page: DELIVERED IN CRUNCH TIME.
Added to the store as of Monday, Jan. 22, are souvenir covers commemorating the Chiefs’ 27-24 Divisional Round victory over the Buffalo Bills. The headline, reflecting Mahomes’ first playoff victory away from GEHA Field at Arrowhead: ROAD WARRIORS.
