Philadelphia’s 21-17 victory at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium drew an average of 28.96 million viewers making it the most watched Monday Night Football game in 27 years.
This after the teams’ meeting in Super Bowl LVII, won by the Chiefs in February, drew 115.1 million viewers according to Nielsen, making it the most watched program in television history.
The Monday night game was broadcast on ABC, ESPN and ESPN2. It also marked the highest-rated NFL game this season, topping the Chiefs-Lions game on NBC in the season opener.
The Chiefs have been involved in the highest-rated game in five weeks this season.
