Chiefs

One Chiefs player turned his back. Another stayed calm. They tricked Broncos into 2 picks

The Kansas City Chiefs defense created three turnovers in Thursday night’s 19-8 home victory over the Denver Broncos.

In this video, KC Star reporter Jesse Newell and Brett Taveau (author of the Chiefs book “Unpacking Greatness” and a longtime high school offensive coordinator) take a deeper look into how KC fooled and foiled Denver quarterback Russell Wilson on interceptions by Nick Bolton and Justin Reid.

Upon further review, the two plays were aided by an unflinching linebacker, a previous-week failure and a disciplined edge rusher ... who definitely understood his assignment.
