Missed out on tickets to the Chiefs game in Germany? Here’s a chance to win a free trip

In June, when tickets went on sale for the Kansas City Chiefs’ first-ever game in Germany, they sold out in just 15 minutes.

But fans have another chance now to get tickets without paying resale prices.

The NFL is hosting a giveaway until Aug. 18 for a pair of tickets with hotel and travel accommodations to see the Chiefs play the Miami Dolphins at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt on Nov. 5

You can enter the giveaway through multiple ways, and one of them is free. For this, you will have to follow the NFL Extra Points account on Instagram or the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, leave a comment with the hashtag #NFLXPSweepstakes and tag someone: a friend, family member or another fan.

Your account must be public and you have to follow the NFL Extra Points account until Sept. 30 so they can verify the winner. You can only enter once per account. The NFL has said that entrants are prohibited from using more than one e-mail address, social media account or multiple identities, and that your entries can be disqualified.

You can also enter if you have an NFL Extra Points credit card by redeeming 100 points earned from past purchases or making a $50 purchase with the credit card.

If you don’t have social media accounts or the NFL Extra Points credit card, you can enter by mailing in an entry to The August International Game Sweepstakes - Points AMOE, PO Box 251328, West Bloomfield, MI 48325.

In your mail-in entry, you have to include:

  • Your complete name with no initials
  • A valid e-mail address
  • A valid street address. P.O. boxes are not accepted
  • City, state and ZIP code
  • A valid telephone number
  • Your date of birth, written in MM/DD/YYYY format

When you mail your entry, it has to be on a 3-and-a-half by 5-inch card and it has to be mailed in an outer mailing envelope with postage. You have to postmark it by Aug. 18 and it must be received by Aug. 28.

You can find the full rules on the NFL website.

The NFL hasn’t revealed when the winner will be notified, but they said they would reach out by email or by a direct message on Twitter or Instagram. The winner will have 24 hours to respond or they may be disqualified.
