Will Shields’ official induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame continues to inch closer, and he recently made a crucial decision related to the event.

On Wednesday, the Hall announced the presenters for Shields and the other seven members of the Class of 2015. Speaking for Shields will be friend Adrian Lunsford.

Lunsford’s first “official” duty as Shields’ presenter will take place at the enshrinees’ Gold Jacket Dinner on Thursday, Aug. 6 in Canton. There, he and the other presenters will greet the Class of 2015 after they pass through a ceremonial gauntlet of the more than 100 hall of famers on hand for the weekend’s activities.

The presenters will then formally present the hall of famers with their gold jackets. The event will be shown on the NFL Network.

On Aug. 8, Lunsford will formally introduce Shields at the Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. He will also join Shields at the unveiling of his bronzed bust.

The entire ceremony will be broadcast live on ESPN and NFL Network.
