Because of their loss Sunday in Cincinnati, the Chiefs lost their grip on the top seed in the AFC playoff race.

With five games to play, the Chiefs are now behind the Buffalo Bills in the playoff field. Both teams have a 9-3 record, but Buffalo holds the tiebreaker based on its victory against the Chiefs earlier this season at Arrowhead Stadium.

The NFL’s regular-season won’t come to an end until Jan. 9, so there likely will be some twists and turns as the Chiefs jockey for playoff positioning with the Bills, Bengals, Dolphins and Ravens.

Will things work out for the Chiefs, so they end up being the top seed and get the lone bye in the AFC playoffs? Let us know what you think by voting in our poll and leave a comment below.
