Kansas City Chiefs vs. Jacksonville Jaguars: When, where, TV, betting line, odds, more

The AFC South has been lowly division in recent years, but the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes don’t buy that idea.

The Chiefs needed a fourth-quarter rally to defeat the Tennessee Titans in overtime 20-17 on Sunday Night Football. The game was a slugfest, with the Titans leading 17-9 in the fourth quarter after the Chiefs had come up scoreless on seven straight possessions.

But Mahomes came to the rescue with a 14-yard touchdown run and a keeper for the two-point conversion. Harrison Butker’s 28-yard field goal in overtime and a defensive stop clinched the victory.

The outcome evened the Chiefs’ record to 1-1 against the South, after losing at Indianapolis earlier this season. The Chiefs look to break the tie when the Jacksonville Jaguars visit GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.

Here’s a crazy stat: Mahomes owns the highest winning percentage among active starting quarterbacks at .789 (56-13). He has a losing record against one division: the AFC South. Sunday’s victory made him 4-5 in regular-season starts against the Titans, Colts, Jaguars and Texans.

But he’s 3-0 in the playoffs against that division.

The Jags are coming off a 27-20 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. Jacksonville overcame a 17-0 deficit to end a five-game losing streak. They’ll seek their first victory in Kansas City since 2007.

Here’s a first look at this coming weekend’s Chiefs-Jaguars game:
