Chiefs

Vote now: Do you want the KC Chiefs to replace rookie Skyy Moore as punt returner?

The final 2 minutes of the first half of the Chiefs’ 44-23 win over the 49ers was bonkers.

San Francisco was lined up for a long field-goal attempt when the Chiefs duped the 49ers into a false-start penalty. That forced the 49ers to punt, but Chiefs rookie Skyy Moore muffed the return and San Francisco recovered.

Another Chiefs rookie, Joshua Williams, intercepted a pass in the end zone. The Chiefs drove deep into 49ers territory but had a touchdown wiped away by a questionable penalty, then Harrison Butker missed a field goal.

Whew. That’s a lot of momentum swings in a matter of minutes.

Williams’ interception picked up Moore, who continued to have trouble with punt returns. It wasn’t quite as bad as his troubles in Indianapolis earlier this season. But do you think the Chiefs would be better off replacing Moore as a punt returner?
