From the first play, things were different for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Tampa Bay fumbled away the opening kickoff, and when the Chiefs got a Patrick Mahomes-to-Travis Kelce touchdown pass two plays later, they were on their way to a 41-31 road victory over the Buccaneers.

After the game, Star reporters and columnists in Tampa talked about the victory with host Blair Kerkhoff. It was an all-around solid effort from a team coming off its worst game — a week ago, the Chiefs lost at the Indianapolis Colts. The KC offensive line was especially good Sunday night, leading a running game that produced a season-best 189 yards.

Mahomes and Kelce had milestone moments. L’Jarius Sneed contributed a big strip-sack. The Bucs hardly used their rushing offense and were held to 3 total yards on the ground.

Enjoy the conversation, which started as a SportsBeat Live stream right after the game.
