From 44 points in the season opener to 27 points to 17 points this past Sunday.

That’s been the scoring trend for the Chiefs through the first three weeks of the NFL season, Perhaps it’s too early to call it a trend since there is time to turn things around with 14 games left to be played.

But at this point, Chiefs fans probably have identified some aspects of the offense they find troubling. Is it the lack of a successor to wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who was traded to the Dolphins during the offseason? Or maybe it’s the running game, which is averaging 4.1 yards per carry and ranks 20th in the league.

Is the play-calling a problem? The offensive line? Or something else?
