Poll: How concerned are you about the Chiefs’ special teams following loss to the Colts?
Dave Toub is going to have nightmares about this game.
The Chiefs lost 20-17 to the Colts on Sunday in Indianapolis, and there was plenty of blame to go around. Much of that blame is on the special teams.
Toub, the Chiefs’ special-teams coordinator, will have much to fix before Kansas City’s next game. Here are some of the things that went wrong Sunday:
- Rookie Skyy Moore muffed a punt that gave the Colts the ball at the KC 4-yard line
- Moore later let a punt fall and the ball was downed at the 1-yard line
- Matt Ammendola, filling in for the injured Harrison Butker, missed a field goal and extra point
- The Chiefs ran a fake field goal that didn’t fool the Colts
We were curious what Chiefs fans thought about the special-teams unit following Sunday’s game. Vote in our poll and/or leave a comment.
