Free burgers, cheap gas and more: When the Chiefs score, you can too with local deals

The Kansas City Chiefs soundly defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 48-9 on Sunday and are now preparing for an important Thursday night clash with the Los Angeles Chargers. The battle for first place in the AFC West impacts much more than the Chiefs’ playoff position.

Residents in Kansas City benefit from the results with some deals you can get in the metro after a game. Here’s a list of what you can get after a Chiefs gameday.

Big Macs for Sacks

Participating McDonald’s locations in the area run buy one, get one free deals on Big Macs after every game a Chiefs player records a sack. A tag team sack by Chris Jones and Melvin Ingram earned Chiefs fans the deal in the first quarter and it wouldn’t come as a surprise if one of them does it again.

HyVee fuel saver

The more the Chiefs score, the more HyVee rewards members save on gas. For every point scored, you can earn that much towards your Fuel Saver rewards card with a matching purchase at Kansas City area locations.

HyVee also offers a free medium fountain drink, coffee or cappuccino with any hot sandwich the day after a game at HyVee gas stations.

Wash it off

Club Car Wash was named the official car wash of the Chiefs at the beginning of the season and even though there’s only one location in Overland Park right now, their offer still applies.

Every Tuesday, you can get an MVP wash, valued at $25, for just $10, with $1 from each wash going towards Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
