Chiefs

KC Chiefs vs. Cowboys: When, where, odds... and could Dallas have played better Sunday?

It’s difficult to imagine the Dallas Cowboys playing any better than they did on Sunday in walloping the Atlanta Falcons 43-3. The Chiefs are the next team that will try to slow down a team that’s won seven of its last eight and whose 8-2 record is tied for the NFL’s best.

Quarterback Dak Prescott passed for two touchdowns and rushed for one in the blowout. Dallas also got a special teams touchdown, recovering a blocked punt off the foot of former Chief Dustin Colquitt in the end zone.

The Cowboys scored 29 in the second period, setting a franchise record for points in a quarter. It was 36-3 at halftime, the Cowboys’ largest halftime lead since 1971.

The Chiefs improved to 6-4 with a 41-14 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw for 406 yards and five touchdowns.
