After Aaron Rodgers COVID news, KC Chiefs-Packers betting line swelled. Here’s how much
The Chiefs-Packers betting line had already taken a big turn this week. The Chiefs opened as three-point favorites, but by Tuesday, after their lackluster Monday Night Football win against the New York Giants, the odds were too close to call: pick ‘em, Vegas said.
Then came Wednesday’s news that superstar Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers would miss Sunday’s game at Arrowhead Stadium after testing positive for COVID-19 ... and the line took huge jump.
According to Draft Kings, for instance, the Chiefs are now the eight-point favorite.
Jordan Love is the likely starter for the Packers in place of Rodgers. The 2020 draft pick hasn’t made an NFL start and has seen limited action in just two games this season.
The game also is the hottest ticket in the NFL this weekend, according to secondary-market ticket outlet TickPick. The average ticket price for Sunday’s game is $412.
