Former Chiefs safety Jordan Lucas signs with Bears, report says
The Chiefs lost another player to free agency.
Safety Jordan Lucas signed a one-year deal with the Chicago Bears, the NFL Network reported Sunday.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Lucas joined the Chiefs in 2018, appearing in 30 games with four starts over the past two seasons. He contributed as a core special teams player in 2019, logging the sixth-most special teams snaps (267) on team while contributing 41 snaps on defense.
Lucas becomes the fourth Chiefs free agent to sign with another team, joining cornerback Kendall Fuller (Washington), defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah (Dolphins) and guard Stefen Wisniewski (Steelers).
