Chiefs

Chiefs’ opponents in 2020 include swing through AFC East, NFC South

The NFL on Monday released each team’s home and away matchups for the 2020 season.

The Kansas City Chiefs will play six AFC West Division games, eight games against the AFC East and NFC South, and two intraconference games against the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans.

Intraconference games are based on the prior year’s standings and match a first-place team against the first-place teams in the two divisions the team is not scheduled to play that season. Baltimore won the AFC North in 2019, while the Texans won the AFC South.

Here are the Chiefs’ opponents in 2020:

HOME: Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Chargers, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Houston Texans, New England Patriots, New York Jets.

AWAY: Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Chargers, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Of note, the Chiefs and Patriots will square off for a fifth straight year, which includes two previous postseason matchups.

The dates and times for the Chiefs’ games will be announced in the spring.
