Chiefs promote five members of player personnel staff

The Chiefs have promoted five members of their player personnel staff, the team announced Friday.

Chris Ballard, formerly the team’s director of pro personnel, has been elevated to director of football operations under general manager John Dorsey, while Mike Borgonzi and Brett Veach have been promoted to co-directors of player personnel under Ballard.

Borgonzi was formerly the assistant director of pro scouting, while Veach was formerly a pro and college personnel analyst.

The Chiefs have also promoted Ryne Nutt from northeast area scout to southeast area scout to replace Dom Green, who was let go following the draft, while Matt Donahue has been promoted from national scout to northeast area scout.
