Three key Chiefs returned to practice Wednesday ahead of Bills game
Three key players who missed the Chiefs’ 12-9 loss to the New York Giants on Sunday due to injury –– receiver Albert Wilson (hamstring), defensive Allen Bailey (knee) and outside linebacker Tamba Hali (knee) — returned to practice Wednesday on a limited basis.
Outside linebacker Dee Ford, who also missed Sunday’s game with a back injury, did not practice. Neither did inside linebacker Terrance Smith, who suffered a concussion in the Giants loss and is currently in the league’s concussion protocol.
Five other Chiefs were listed on the injury report but were full participants on Wednesday: receiver Tyreek Hill (glute), defensive tackle Bennie Logan (knee), cornerback Kenneth Acker (elbow), tight end Ross Travis (ankle) and defensive lineman Jarvis Jenkins (shoulder).
Buffalo injury report
Two Bills starters –– receiver Kelvin Benjamin (knee) and offensive tackle Cordy Glenn (foot/ankle) — missed practice with injuries.
A handful of other starters were limited, including tight end Charles Clay (knee), kicker Stephen Hauschka (hip) and receiver Jordan Matthews (knee).
Others who were limited included receiver Deonte Thompson (ankle) and fullback Mike Tolbert (hamstring). Tackle Dion Dawkins (illness) and guard John Miller (ankle) did not practice.
