Phillip Gaines won’t play, Houston listed as questionable for Sunday’s game
Chiefs cornerback Phillip Gaines will miss Sunday’s game against the Titans because of knee swelling, coach Andy Reid said Friday.
But outside linebacker Justin Houston practiced on Friday after missing Thursday’s workout and is listed as questionable.
“It was just tender,” Reid said of Houston’s knee. “We just backed off him (Thursday). It’s just going to be that way. … I think he’ll be ready to roll.”
Houston missed the first nine games this season after having knee surgery after last season.
Also listed as questionable is defensive lineman Kendall Reyes with a wrist injury.
The Titans list linebacker Sean Spence out with an ankle injury. Questionable are defensive lineman Karl Klug (Achilles), defensive tackle Jurrell Casey (foot) and linebacker David Bass (groin).
