Oklahoma City police have released surveillance video in connection with the shooting death of a Kansas City Chiefs player’s father.

According to KJRH-TV in Tulsa, police released surveillance video after closing the investigation into the fatal shooting of Michael Winchester at Will Rogers World Airport on Nov. 15.

Winchester is the father of Chiefs long snapper James Winchester.

Michael Winchester was shot and killed by Lloyd Dean Buie as Winchester left his job at Southwest Airlines and walked to the parking lot.

Buie, 45, was a former employee of the airline. Retaliation was a likely motive for the shooting, police told KJRH.

Buie was later found dead in the parking garage as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
