Chiefs cornerback Phillip Gaines is expected to return for Sunday’s game at Indianapolis.

Gaines has missed two of the last three games and left the third game early dealing with a knee injury.

Gaines’ return comes as another cornerback, rookie D.J. White, suffered a fractured hand in Sunday’s victory over the Saints. White was ruled out, along with running back Jamaal Charles and offensive lineman Jordan Deve

Offensive tackle Mitchell Schwartz who hasn’t missed a snap in his NFL career, a span of 70 games, was listed as questionable on the injury report with an ankle sprain.

Outside linebacker Tamba Hali didn’t practice on Friday but he’ll play against the Colts, said coach Andy Reid.

For the Colts, defensive end Kendall Langford, is listed as out. He’s played in all 135 regular-season games of his career. Langford continues to deal with a right knee issue that required minor surgery during training camp.

Also out for the Colts: tight end Dwayne Allen, linebacker Curt Maggitt, wide receiver Chester Rogers, defensive tackle Henry Anderson and offensive guard Jack Mewhort.
