Former Chiefs QB Matt Cassel out for the season
Former Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel is out for the season with broken bones in his left foot.
The Minnesota Vikings announced Wednesday that they put Cassel on injured reserve for the injury he sustained in Sunday’s game against New Orleans. Rookie Teddy Bridgewater came in after Cassel was hurt.
The Vikings also said guard Brandon Fusco was out for the season with a pectoral muscle injury in the same game.
