Kansas Speedway, NASCAR announce time change for Xfinity Series race

Kansas Speedway in conjunction with NASCAR announced Wednesday that the time and broadcast information for the Xfinity Series Kansas Lottery 300 has changed.

The race, which is the first in the round of eight for the inaugural Xfinity Series Chase for the Championship, will begin at 2 p.m. Oct. 15 and will air on NBC and the Motor Racing Network.

Kansas Speedway will host two other races that weekend, including the Hollywood Casino 400 at 1 p.m. Oct. 16 on NBC. It serves as the fifth race in the NASCAR Chase for the Sprint Cup.

Meanwhile, the ARCA Racing Series season finale is slated for 7:30 p.m. Oct. 14 on Fox Sports 1.

The Kansas Lottery 300 was originally scheduled for 3 p.m. on the NBC Sports Network.
