Times announced for NASCAR races at Kansas Speedway

NASCAR on Tuesday announced starting times for each of the races on the 2016 Sprint Cup, Xfinity and Camping World Trucks Series schedules.

Here’s are updates for the upcoming season at Kansas Speedway.

The first event will be the Toyota Tundra 250 Camping World Trucks race on May 6. It will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be televised on Fox Sports 1. On May 7, the GOBOWLING.COM 400 — the Sprint Cup Series spring race — will begin at 6:30 p.m. It will be televised on Fox Sports 1.

Two playoff races will be held in October at Kansas Speedway.

The Kansas Lottery 300 — the fourth race in the Chase for the NASCAR Xfinity Series — will begin at 3 p.m. on Oct. 15 and will be televised on the NBC Sports Network. The next day, on Oct. 16, the Hollywood Casino 400 will start at 1:15 p.m. and will be televised on NBC. It is the fifth race in the 10-race Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
