ARCA Racing Series finale to return to Kansas Speedway in 2015
The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards will decide their 2015 champion under the lights at Kansas Speedway on Oct. 16, 2015. The series has concluded its season at Kansas Speedway each year since 2012.
“I look forward to hosting the ARCA finale again in 2015,” said Kansas Speedway president Patrick Warren. “ARCA has put on a great race as they crown their champion after the ARCA 98.9 under the lights for the last several years. I expect the same great racing in 2015.”
ARCA helped christen Kansas Speedway on June 2, 2001. The inaugural ARCA race at Kansas was half of a doubleheader with the NASCAR Winston West Series.
ARCA was the first series to race at night at Kansas Speedway and the first series to race on the newly paved track .
“It’s one of the fastest tracks we go to and definitely a lot of fun,” said ARCA driver Justin Allison, who has raced twice on the track.
The ARCA 98.9 will kick off the fifth race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup weekend in October that includes the NASCAR Nationwide Series on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015 and the Hollywood Casino 400 on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015.
