Drivers heading to The Finish Line
Sprint Cup drivers Kevin Harvick and Carl Edwards will make appearances at Kansas Speedway’s fan hospitality area, The Finish Line, before the inaugural night race on May 10.
Harvick, who won last fall’s Sprint Cup race at Kansas Speedway, is scheduled to participate in a question-and-answer session at 3:45 p.m., and Edwards, of Columbia, will follow at 4 p.m.
Montoya to make two Cup startsTeam Penske announced Wednesday that Juan Pablo Montoya will drive the No. 12 Ford on June 15 at Michigan and on July 27 at Indianapolis.
Montoya, now driving full time for Penske in the IndyCar series, spent 2007-13 as a full-time NASCAR competitor. He won two Sprint Cup races during 2007-13 and owns career-best finishes of sixth at Michigan and second at Indianapolis, where he also won the 2000 Indianapolis 500.
